giảm: năm 2007 so với năm 2000 giảm 1,1 lần,
459nghìn ha. Giảm liên tục.
- Sản lượng lúa tăng nhanh, từ năm 2000- 2007 tăng 3412nghìn tấn gấp 1,1lần. SL lúa tăng, tăng lien tục, 1 phần chủ yếu là do tăng năng suất. Áp dụng khoa học kĩ thuật,công nghệ hiện đại....
- Nsuất lúa tăng khá nhanh, từ năm 2000(42tạ/ha)–2007(50tạ/ha) tăng được 8tạ/ha gấp 1,2lần.
- Dân số tăng 1,1 lần
- Bình quân lúa theo đầu người tăng: năm 2000là 419 kg/người đến năm 2007 là
422kg/người,tăng 3,0kg/ng ,tăng ko liên tục.
- Năng xuất lúa tăng nhanh do sản lượng tăng nhanh,Dt giảm.
b/Phân bố cây lúa;- ĐBSCLlà vùng SX lúa lớn nhất,chiếm trên 50% DTvà trên
50% sản lượng lúa. Bình quân lương thực / người > 1000 kg/người/năm. ĐBSH: vùng SXlúa thứ 2 cả nước,chiếm 20% sản lượng lúa, có năng suất lúa cao nhất nước.
- Những tỉnh có DTtrồng lúa so với DTtrồng cây lương thực trên 90%: Tất cả các tỉnh ở ĐBSCL, một số tỉnh ở ĐBSH (Bắc Ninh,HDương,Hưng Yên,HPhòng,Hà
Nam,Nam Định)& ĐNB(Tây Ninh,TPHồ CM
- Các tỉnh trọng điểm lúa (có DTvà sản lượng lúa lớn)phần lớn tập trung ở
ĐBSCL(Kể tên ở atlát)
2. Nguyên nhân- DTtrồng lúa tăng (tập trung chủ yếu ở ĐBSCL)do khai hoang mở rộng DT. Tăng vụ. Phát triển thủy lợi nên nhiều DT trước kia thiếu nước tưới đến nay đã có nước tưới. - Đầu tư về khoa học- KT&công nghệ cho việc SXlúa(thủy lợi,phân bón,máy móc, dịch vụ cây trồng đặc biệt là việc đưa các giống mới vào trồng đại trà phù hợp với các vùng sinh thái khác nhau. - CSVC- CSHT: Hệ thống thuỷ lợi,CN chế biến SX phân bón pt. - Đường lối,c/sách khuyến nông của nhà nước đặc biệt là ch/sách khoán10 và luật mới được ban hành. - Thị trường (trong nước và xuất khẩu).
* Khó khăn - ĐKtự nhiên: thiên tai(bão, lụt,... , sâu bệnh,)có ảnh hưởng xấu đếnSX, dẫn đế SLlúa không ổn định. - Điều kiện kinh tế xã hội: + Thiếu vốn, phân bón, thuốc trừ sâu. + Công nghệ sau thu hoạch còn nhiều hạn chế. + Thị trường xuất khẩu luôn biến động.
