- Do đường lối lãnh đạo cách mạng chủ quan, duy ý chí, cùng với cơ chế tập trung quan liệu bao cấp làm cho sản xuất trì trệ, đời sống nhân dân không được cải thiện, xã hội thiếu dân chủ và công bằng.
- Do không bắt kịp bước phát triển của khoa học – kĩ thuật tiên tiến, dẫn tới tình trạng trì trệ , khủng hoảng về kinh tế và xã hội.
- Tiến hành cải tổ phạm phải sai lầm trên nhiều mặt làm cho khủng hoảng thêm trầm trọng.
- Sự chống phá của các thế lực thù địch ở trong và ngoài nước. b) Suy nghĩ:
- Các nước XHCN ngày nay đang tiến hành công cuộc cải cách – đổi mới, nhằm xây dựng chế độ chủ nghĩa xã hội đúng với bản chất của nó, phù hợp với hoàn cảnh và truyền thống văn hóa mỗi dân tộc.
- Nhân dân các nước XHCN (Trung Quốc , Việt Nam) cần vững tin vào tương lai CNXH, tin vào sự lãnh đạo của Đảng Cộng Sản và hết mình vì sự nghiệp cải cách – đổi mới trên con đường XHCN.
