When I think about career choice, several things immediately come to mind but there are a number of other factors that may influence my decisions. To begin with, I will consider to work in an area that pays well. How much is earned from the job is important, for this is a part of motivation to stimulate people in their job. However, I may think twice about satisfaction which the job brings us. Positive feelings about what we are doing surely motivates us to dedicate more to working. Yet, job satisfaction is influenced by job expectations. Think carefully of what we look forward to when getting this job to avoid misunderstanding what we are about to involve. Last but not least, contribution to society through the job is another factor which has influence on my choosing a job. The things we do not only benefit ourselves but also enrich society through different ways. Taking time to deliberate on aspects which my job will affect society is one more thing that should be done. In short, job decisions have never been easy to anyone, including me. I will take it seriously to avoid regret when engaging with a job.
