Helping the poor in Vietnam is everyone’s responsibility. Being a teenager, I think that students can do many things to help them. Firstly, students should join voluntary clubs, charities. In these organizations, they can create many seminars, meeting to make people sympathize the poor. People should give them a hand up rather than a hand out. Giving them moral support, showing heartfelt humility and respect makes them aware that someone really does care about them and trying to improve their condition. Besides, students can join various activities and plans various strategies for fund raising. Providing financial assistance to the poor can help them solve the basic problems of living. They can donate not only money but also food, clothes, furniture. Last but not least, education can make big changes in their future. So, students should create a group of 8 or 9 students and try to teach poor children by giving them free classes in their free time. It is very important that they should convince their parents to send their children to schools. In conclusion, by the smallest activities, students can help the poor pass though their hard periods.
