Music has been a part of people's lives since the time civilization began. Firstly, music, which can be sad or happy, calming or agitating, angry or contented,  is an expression of emotion. When people play or listen to music, they feel their emotions as music has a lot of emotional power. Moreover, music helps people feel connected to each other. For example, when people go to a concert, they are with the ones who share their musical tastes. Also, music plays an integral part in ceremonies or festivals, from ancient time to present thanks to its ability to make people closer to each other. Last but not least, people all over the world enjoy music because of its beauty. Music is an art, an expression of beauty. Whatever emotion it expresses, positive or negative, it is beautiful. People liken the action of listening to a good piece of music  to the one of  looking at a beautiful flower or a spectacular sunset. In conclusion, music is so important that no culture has ever been without it.
